The unique and extraordinary Cliff House of Waipunalei is simply majestic. Called 'Ocean Soul' the Pacific Ocean is your constant companion from almost every room in the house. The property excels in location and views! Thousands of feet below the home is a black sand and rock beach which is accessed via a narrow road from your driveway. From the heights of the home you'll see whales in the winter months. Entertain from the kitchen with a span of windows that gives you the feeling of being at the prow of a ship.
A master suite on the main level is complete with walk-in closet, large bath with jetted tub, double sinks and walk-in shower. The air conditioning and sun shades keep the suite cool on days when there is nothing but sun and sea for miles around. The master floor also has a second bedroom and bathroom with a wooden tub. Down one floor is the main living area: kitchen, dining and living spaces. There is a third bedroom and bathroom with a tiled shower on this floor.
The elegant lap pool is fenced and private with a concrete deck for sunning. The pool is sited on it's own lot so a pool house/guest house could be possible.
Ocean Soul is a wildly successful vacation rental and is one of Elite Pacific Properties most booked properties. The clientele is well established and the reviews are stellar. Continue to run this successful business or move in to your oceanfront home.
This home is one of a kind. Extensive engineering went into the solid construction of the home. This home could not be built today due to zoning restrictions, so it truly is a remarkable offering on the gold coast of the island of Hawaii. The Hamakua Coast is one of the Hawaiian Islands most scenic and unpopulated coastlines. It stretches for 80 miles of exceptional agricultural lands with gulches, waterfalls and abundant flora. A pacific island paradise awaits you.
Sale includes three parcels: 3-3-6-5-14-2, 3-3-6-5-15 and 3-3-9-1-17 for 14.094 Acres.

North Hilo

Know for nearly ideal tropical weather, stunning cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and vast expanses of hardwood forests, the North Hilo district on the Big Island's Hamakua Coast is home to several small communities, including Ninole, Papaaloa, Laupahoehoe and Ookala.

Here, historic plantation villages lie nestled among large expanses of agricultural and forested lands. This is a place where residents enjoy country living, but can also take advantage of North Hilo's close proximity to Hilo town.

Those least familiar with North Hilo likely know the stretch of Hawaii Belt Road that runs through the district for the three dramatic gulches that define this section of the Hamakua Coast drive: Maulua Gulch, Laupahoehoe Gulch and Kaawalii Gulch. Those more familiar with the district are acquainted with its rich history, including its deep roots in the sugar plantation era, traces of which are still very evident today.

A significant amount of land in this area is zoned as either agricultural or "forest reserve" conservation land. In some cases, residential properties are located adjacent to expansive forests of prized Koa or Ohia trees. As with the rest of the Big Island, this is a place where both plantation-style village homes and multi-million dollar estates are common offerings among listings for sale.

Our agents know this area well and have great respect for the heritage of the community. Working with a knowledgable Clark Realty agent will help those interested in Hamakua Coast real estate successfully navigate the ins and outs of rural Big Island real estate.
