The Moulins work as a team to offer greater market knowledge, the benefit of two perspectives with a common philosophy, and increased availability to their valued clients. We have been a team in life for more than thirty years. At the end of the day, it makes us more productive and more effective for the client. This is true whether the client is a buyer or a seller.
From the buyer’s side, we are excellent listeners who know how to translate the clients’ desires into the perfect property. Often we are able to use our combined market knowledge to find a better view, or features than were expected within a buyer’s budget. We have also worked with investors, where market knowledge is critical in finding bargains. We have patience, at times working with clients two or three years before that buyer is ready to make the big move to paradise. You will find no high pressure with this team. Linda sums it up, “The best part is, most of our clients have become our friends.”
From the seller’s side, listening skills are just as important. We use our market knowledge to get the best result for the seller. We factor in all the items that have influenced a seller to put their property on the market. Being aware of up to the minute market conditions in a particular area helps us give a seller a realistic picture of property values. The two of us have developed many different skills over the years, through experience gained in various career paths. We moved to Asia when Jess took a position in international trade. Our adventure started by living in Taiwan, then Hong Kong. We traveled extensively throughout Asia during our 20 years living in the region. This Asian experience resulted in developing excellent communication skills, a deep appreciation of different cultures, and exceptional negotiating skills. At one point Linda ran the Hong Kong office of an operation while Jess traveled throughout China.
Despite our comprehensive work experience, we have never found a job more rewarding than real estate. It is the most fulfilling job we have ever had. We always put the needs of the client ahead of the benefit to ourselves. This guiding principle has earned us respect, repeat business, and referrals. Over the years we have helped sellers who are moving up, downsizing or leaving the island. We have enjoyed success with buyers who are looking to fulfill a dream or a buyer who is a pure investor. We fully understand we are representing clients in what is often the biggest purchase of their lives. We take that responsibility very seriously, while at the same time working hard to make the search or selling experience a pleasant one.
