My family moved to Hilo when I was ten years old, and since then I have been blessed by the people, land, and ocean of Hawai’i Island. My interest in business and agriculture led me to degrees in Agricultural Economics and Accounting from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.
After graduation from college, my work experience included positions with C. Brewer & Company’s Ka’u Agribusiness and Mauna Kea Agribusiness; public accounting with Deloitte Haskins and Sells, and as an independent Certified Public Accountant; and with other organizations and businesses including the County of Hawai’i. With C. Brewer & Company, I was the Accounting Manager for the Land Division, which was charged with selling about 70,000 acres of land as part of the shareholder decision to dissolve the company. The C Brewer sales of raw land, planned subdivisions, and improved residential and commercial real estate provided an opportunity to learn the about real estate transactions. My work on the C Brewer land sales motivated me to begin my career in real estate full-time.
My community service and involvement has included membership in Hawaii Association of Public Accountants, Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, Lehua Jaycees, youth soccer referee for AYSO, and numerous church service projects.
To my real estate clients, I offer the experience gained in my former accounting career to provide a high level of service and professionalism as I work to aid them in obtaining their real estate goals.
