Originally from Saratoga, California I have been an island resident since 1984. In 2008, I earned my Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation and, later, the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation. I have also worked for many years as a project manager for my Oahu-raised husband, who is a licensed General Contractor.
After arriving on the Big Island, my husband and three children and I lived for 12 years in Volcano before moving to a 30-acre ranch near Akaka Falls where we owned and cared for peacocks, boxers, cattle and horses. After 12 years on the Hamakua Coast, we downsized and are now residents of Hilo Town.
A fiber and gourd artist with work accepted in juried exhibits and on display locally at the Volcano Arts Center, I am also the owner of Banyan Gallery in Hilo and a nationally recognized teacher of gourd art.
