After a successful career with Pacific Bell in the San Francisco Bay Area, Cyndy Dyal became a Hawaii Island resident in December of 1991. She actively participated in every imaginable non-profit association such as Super Kids, Destination Kona Coast, American Heart Association, Rotary International, Kona Billfish Tournament, Christmas Parade, Earth Day, Friends of NELHA, etc. in varying roles. Cyndy helped introduce the cellphone industry to Hawaii Island as a business rep for US Cellular. She was active on the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 8 years. Shortly after, she became the Executive Director.
Cyndy entered the real estate field in 2006 and had immediate success in selling out the Lokahi Makai community. Cyndy then transitioned on to Clark Realty in 2010, selling out Phase I of Wainani Estates. At the same time, she pursued her interest in the alternative energy business having sold solar solutions off and on for over 22 years. Cyndy worked on temporary assignment with the County of Hawaii Department of Research and Development February 2016 through September 2017 while continuing her real estate career. Cyndy continues to merge her County of Hawaii knowledge and interest in “green” living into her real estate career and specializes in “green” homes.
Currently Cyndy is a member of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, Destination Kona Coast, the Kona Historical Society, the ACF Kona-Kohala Chef’s Association and the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors®. Cyndy was a co-founder of the Kona Brewer’s Festival. She was also the co-founder of The Friends of NELHA, a 501 c3 non-profit organization and currently serves on their Board of Directors. She was also the founder of the Kona Kohala Chamber of Commerce’s Building & Design Expo. Cyndy is a graduate of “Ulumau”, the Hawaii Island Leadership Series.
