This weekend, on Sunday, May 1, the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and West Hawaii Mediation Center will present the Kona-Kohala Grand Green Homes Tour.
A total of 12 North and West Hawaii homes designed with sustainability and energy efficiency in mind will be open for tours throughout the day on Sunday. Four homes are open in Kona from 9 am - 2pm, four in Waimea from 10 am - 3 pm and and four Kohala homes are open from 11 am - 4 pm.
For directions and a brief description of the unique features of each property, please visit the Chamber of Commerce website. Tickets, which will be available at the homes on Sunday, are $20. Each ticket allows entrance to four individual homes per person.
