The 9th season of the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival opens on Tuesday, July 9, at Waimea's Kahilu Theatre with a Gala Concert by jazz vocalist Laine Carroll. According to the HPAF website, tickets for the opening event are no longer being sold online, but good seats are available at the door. On Saturday, July 13, the Kahilu Theatre again hosts a beloved HPAF performer, acclaimed violinist Chee Yun. Tickets for that performance can be purchased on the HPAF website.
