On April 10, Hamakua Harvest welcomes The Harmony People from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for live entertainment while you shop and eat. For the educational guest, Hamakua Harvest is pleased to host "Seed Planting and Community Talk-Story" at the market for a follow-up to the Building Resilient Seed Systems for Hawaii event scheduled for the day before at North Hawaii Education and Research Center.

NOVEMBER 15: George Kahumoku Hosts Honokaa Concert to Benefit Critical Access Hospital 

The Nā Mele Makana Slack Key Concert Series brings some of the biggest names in Hawaiian music to the Honoka‘a People's Theatre stage. Hosted by Grammy-winner George Kahumoku, the November 15 show features special guest Martin Pahinui along with Brad Bordessa and Anuhea Lim. Bringing the community and our island's visitors together to enjoy an evening of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, the show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Honoka‘a People’s Theatre. Honokaa's Memorial Day Western Weekend Festivities Include Music, Parade & Rodeo 

The 57th Annual Scholarship Rodeo, scheduled for May 25-27 at the Honokaa Arena, is the oldest and largest Rodeo in the State of Hawaii. Over 300 contestants come from all over Hawaii and the mainland to participate! All proceeds from the Rodeo go toward scholarships to further the education of Hawaii's youth. Read More
