One of the reasons I aspired to become a real estate professional is to work with first time homebuyers. Over the years, I’ve found that there is one simple thing has held many people back from starting a journey toward homeownership. This one hurdle can sometimes hold people back for years. Too often, what I’ve heard from renters and younger potential homebuyers is: “I want to buy a home. But I don’t know where to start.”
As your agent, my first recommendation when the “Where do I start?” question arises is to encourage you to talk with a lender. A good lender will hold your hand through each step of the process and make it as painless as possible.
